The inaugural 'Ombak Strike Bodybaord Challenge 2009' has been planned to take place athe scenic venue, Teluk Chempedak (TC) beach, Kuantan in the state of Pahang Darul Makmur, Malaysia, is the maiden project for the organizer, Vision Strike Event Management .
Bodyboarding is a sport that is gaining mass popularity in Malaysia besides surfing. In light of the increasing demands of the sport, we at Vision Strike Event Management would like to take the sport into a higher level by promoting it to the mainstream.
The event will be held on :
Date : 5 & 6 of DECEMBER 2009 (Saturday & Sunday)
Time : 7am to 6pm
Venue : Teluk Chempedak Beach, Pahang, Malaysia
Category : Open & Womens (50 Bodyboarders)
Fees : Rm40
There will be other activities to support the main event, There are :
-Mountain Bike Demonstration. - Launching of a new track which was built next to the beach.
-Surf Photography Competition. - To boost interest of Malaysian photographer to explore the art of surf photography.
Surf Clinic - To create interest and surf awareness to the public.We believe this will serve the aim and objectives of the event to promote the sport of bodyboarding in Malaysia.
